Readers Respond: What legitimate companies hire telecommuters on a regular basis?
Responses: 5

By , About.com Guide

More and more legitimate companies are hiring telecommuters to perform jobs that were once done in-house. Often their goal is to lower overhead costs, like rent and utilities for office space. But sometimes companies are seeking the most qualified workers by hiring outside their geography region.

But these companies can be tough to find in the sea of work-at-home scams on the Internet.

Do you know of a company that hires telecommuters? Let the rest of us know by posting the name and website of the company.

legitimate work from home

I work from home for a company called ACS or Affiliated Computer Services. You will have to check back often but they list home-based positions. The only drawback is that I did have to go in office for training in my position but got to go home after training. I have now worked for them for almost 4 years. Look at acs-inc.com and check out the job listings.

About 10 yrs ago my life turn completely upside down. I had been a professional training the Disabled and helping them find employment. Then an accident left me disabled and that brought my career to a screeching halt. I found myself in the midst of an economic situation due to medical bills that lead me to Bankruptcy and then to divorce. But life has great promise if you persist and stay focused. Great thing can happen and do… I wanted to let you know I found a company called J.Lodge out of Ft Meyer, Fl. I found a job working from home… I am not sure you know about them. so I wanted to let you know about this company. People can apply thru their website at http://www.jlodge.com/careers/ feel free to ask me questions too, I love to help people. That was my job before I became disabled.

Reserve America

I work for this company and I have to say they have the best opportunity out there that I have seen for work from home. Full benefits are offered although a bit pricey, completely flexible schedule and great team of people to work with.
