What Is Single Level Marketing?

Definition: Single Level Marketing (SLM) is a compensation plan for direct selling in which sales associates are paid only for their own personal sales activity. They do not recruit other sales reps and derive income from them as in a multi-level marketing (MLM) organization. Income is only in the form of commission or bonus. Less than 1 percent of all direct sales associates are paid on a single level marketing compensation plan.*
