When work and home are in the same place, a combined calendar makes sense. Keeping track of the family schedule is a tough job, but mix it in with a work-at-home business or job, and things can really get confusing. But there are many different types of calendars that work well for families--paper, dry erase, online, etc. Finding the calendar that works for your family might take a little trial and error.
Some moms may prefer a personal organizer while others want a combined calendar that is shared by all members of the family. Here are few options for family calendars.

Plus you can stay connected to your social and business networks with Outlook Social Connector, which allows you connect to Facebook, LinkedIn and other sites.
Google Calendar
Like Outlook, each member of the family can have their own calendar that is accessible to other members of the family when using Google Calendar. You can even share your calendar with relatives and friends. But, of course, unlike Outlook, it's free. The downside to both is that you must be plugged in to an electronic device to use it. So younger children may not be able to see the calendar.
