West at Home's customer service agents handle billing, sales or troubleshooting calls for the company's clients. They are paid on a per-minute rate, per-call or an hourly rate, with a guarantee of minimum wage. Training is paid.

Working Solutions

Position type: Independent contractor

Duration: Temporary, project basis
Geographic restrictions: Accepts agents from outside the U.S., but not all projects are available to them.

Company contracts with agents to do data entry and call center jobs for clients. Pay ranges from $7.20 to $30 an hour. Call center projects include order processing, reservations, enrollments, customer service, sales, market research, technical support, etc.
