Yesterday, we discussed some management tips for moms during this ever so busy time of year. When you work at home, you often have some flexibility in getting all the things on your to-do list done. However, that flexibility can be a double-edge sword. It can mean you end up working all the time. Or, you can leave a trail of half finished jobs in your wake.
Without a set of ground rules for yourself and your family, you can give in to distractions, be it refereeing your own bickering kids, running errands for friends (who think you have nothing to do because you work at home) or simply multitasking too much. I know I am guilty of all three!
And no time is more ripe for distraction than December, so keep focused.
