Good time management is something we may wish for this time of year--perhaps as much as for an iPad under the tree--as time seems to be in scarce supply during the holiday season. Unfortunately it's not as simple to obtain as an iPad because it is something that money can't buy.
Sure, money can buy organizing gizmos or even more simple items like calendars and planners, which can help you manage your time better. However, these are only tools. We must know how to use them to manage our time (and have the discipline to do so) in order for tools to be helpful. And frankly technology can as easily become a time waster as a time saver.
And so as the year draws to a close, I think more about how to get my time under control. Not only because I need so much more of it, but because I am looking forward to a fresh start in the New Year. If you're like me and want to get off on the right foot in 2013, these resources may help.
