Figuring when's the best time for back-to-school shopping is tough. Too early and you might miss the deals later in the season or you won't find all you need. Start your back-to-school shopping too late and you're likely to be sold out on at least one thing your child needs. And if you have to wait until after school starts you may have to, gasp, pay full price.
I think it also depends on what you are shopping for. School uniforms you definitely want to shop early. Other school clothes, too, you may find good deals as soon as they take the bathing suits off the racks. But school supplies it's best to wait until stores put them on sale in mid summer, and then shop around too. When do you think is the best time to go back-to-school shopping?
