Not that there's anything wrong with playgrounds! Kids love them. Though, for parents they're not quite as much fun.
Yet fun or not, a trip to the playground is frequently a part of a work-at-home mom's everyday summer activities. Sometimes you just need to get stir-crazy children outdoors in order to be productive at work, and the playground breaks up the day, gets the kids outside and is free.

Thanks again for more great ideas. Do not forget to go to the library, it is FREE and they have DVD’s, CD’s, books etc to check out for free. It is also airconditioned. They may have a summer reading program so the kids get FREE stuff for reading books.
